Problems opening MS Word Macros in Editor

I’ve got this annoying problem, some environment settings first off:

OS Type: Windows XP Pro
My Version of MS Word – 11.8307.8221 SP3

Issue: I’ve placed my macro into the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\STARTUP directory but it doesn’t seem to be registering as a macro.

When I opened the editor, the macro is detected as a Template Project instead of the usual (Filename), i.e. TemplateProject(FileName)

My colleague tried it on his machine (Vista, same MS Word version) and it actually works.

I also tried to match the file permissions to another macro file that is actually working but that didn’t work.

Anyone have any other suggestions?
