Problems seeing Workgroup Computers

Hello,

I am in the process of installing a network into a small office, 5 pc’s.

So far I have been able to completly wire two pc’s to a switch (Netgear FS 105), I then ran the Network Utility on each machine and created a workgroup. I was not able to see any computer on each computer when using view workgroup computers, I then assigned my own IP addresses and I am able to see one pc from the other (but only on one pc), on the other pc there is no change.

There is no firewall, running XP home and all connection options are selected.

Please Help.
