I have a user where I work that needs a PS2 KVM switch to toggle between a production computer and a development computer. She has reported problems with her KVM switch so I was asked to replace it with a new Zonet KVM3002 switch. It is a 2-port switch.
The user called and said that she is still experiencing problems using the CTRL key. She uses it to navigate through a certain program but is experiencing problems. She says that when she presses the CTRL key multiple times, it starts messing up. It works only about every other time.
We’ve made sure the sticky keys is disabled. The company doesn’t provide much support on their site.
Does this sound like it may be a problem with the KVM and it’s hot keys? Is there a way to disable the hot keys?
