I have been having problems with ActiveX and would appreciate any advice.
At first I received an error message stating that “There is no viewer available for the type of object you are trying to open.” The object, I believe, was an archived radiobroadcast. The message suggested that the viewer could possibly be obtained at the Microsoft ActiveX Gallery.
As usual, a search of a Microsoft download site was very confusing. However, if I simply
clicked on the “Yes” button to go to the location, the audio file opened.
However,I recently got the following error message and ActiveX doesn’t seem to work at all.
IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in
module MSHTML.DLL at 0167:70d02367.

I try to avoid editing my computer’s registry manually.
I use Microsoft’s RegClean and TweakUI. These applications
have not solved the problem.
