problems with bootdisk/cmos-setup/ram

my board is asus txp4(socket 7)
i flashed the rom but had some troubles making the flash-steps.
1. system blocked when using setup-defaults(ok bootsequence had to be changed a,c-c,a is standard in setup-default-settings)
2. i tested my 4x16mb edo-ram 60ns, they are ok
but, when i set 60ns and make the boot(setting up new windows) at the end it says “access denied” although everything seems to work. all drives are accessibly. with other settings(70ns and default) everything is ok. BTW: i used the newest bios update with no improvements but currently i am using the second newest.
