I’m having problems booting up my home PC. What happens is that it loads up and you get the desktop but then when it tries to load the start button and the rest of that task bar it doesn’t seem to complete. It will look like its loading then flashes back to a blank screen or I should say the screen with the background picture and no icons. If you try to go to anything like my computer or all programs you have like seconds then it does this flash and you have lost everything you were trying to navigate to. I got into the safe mode and the problem is occurring there as well. I’ve tried booting from my install disks and that will not work as well. Does anyone have any answers on how I can fix this? Oh I have windows XP but not sure what version because its a home PC and I do not alot of maintenance on it…
