Problems with graphic card on my windows xp

By mindy6886 ·
When I try to run my windows media center or some visualizations in I-tunes, it says that my graphic card is not installed or needs updated. I have tried updating my graphics card but still it says the same thing? What could be the problem that I am not seeing or is my graphic card going bad? I can use other visualizations and run other programs that use the graphic card?
Any help would be appreciated.

Well without knowing what your Graphic Card actually is

The most likely explanation is that the current card is set tot he wrong resolutions and as a result some programs do not like it.

The most common ones require a better than 800 x 600 resolution but depending on what you are using this may be different.

The other possibility is that whatever you are using as a Virtual doesn't support that Video Card/Chip Set.
