problems with safe mode on vista

By davo39 ·
I had my laptop fixed 6 months ago and the guy told me i no longer had safe mode. I have since accidently set it up to start in safe mode and i can't change it back. The screen says safe mode up the top and down the bottom but there is no start button and i can't left or right click on anything. I hit f1 on start up and was able to perform a system restore to before it started in safe mode but it still starts in safe mode.

That's not what I'd call "fixed".

Ridiculous. Did you pay money for this? I'd get it back. That is the dumbest thing I've heard this week.

So, you can't hold the F8 on boot to get into the startup options?

Try pressing ctrl+alt+del once in safe mode.

You could also try a startup repair
