    Problems with SP4

    Anyone know of issues with Win2k SP4 and SQL server 6.5?

      I wish I could find a bookmark about this, but I can’t.
      When SP4 for Win2K came out originally, there were some reported problems with SQL Server. I run SQL Server 2000, and this is why I noticed it. I did not roll out SP4 on my SQL boxes until I was able to test it for a couple weeks, and did not see any problems. Then I upgraded my production boxes.
      Everything worked ok.
      But, I was real cautious when I did the upgrade. I stopped all SQL Server processes, turned off anti-virus software, then did the SP install from the Add/Remove Programs applet.
      So, what issues are you seeing, or are you just checking before you roll out SP4?

      Let me clarify. I’m wanting to know if anyone has heard of/discovered problems with applying Win2k-sp4 to a Win2k server which is running SQL 6.5.
