Problems with Veritas Backup Exec 8.5

by lt1transamgt . Updated 25 years, 6 months ago

I am running NT Server 4 and have Backup Exec 8.5 installed on a Compaq Proliant 5500. There are 3 logical drives and one of them is a 100 gig raid 5 array. I was getting an error with the Intelligent Disaster Recovery option on my 7.3 version andI called Veritas and they upgraded me to 8.5 for free (8.5 supposedly had the fix). I am still getting the error and my backup is failing. Although, it looks like all the data is being backed up. Some of the error messages are:”Error saving machine specific Intelligent Disaster Recovery information to path \\TSC1-IMAGE\C$\VERITAS\.
Error: 240
The session was cancelled.” and
“Error saving machine specific Intelligent Disaster Recovery information to path \\TSC1-IMAGE\C$\VERITAS\.
Error: 59
An unexpected network error occurred” I also get error -1. When I view the NT event viewer I sometimes see a rdr timeout error. Has anyone seen this problem and know what to do. I am continuing to speak to Veritas but have not found an answer yet. If you need more information please email me at LT1TransAmGT@aol.com Thank you,

George
