Proceduce to retire a NT 4.0 BDC from AD

I have a AD enviroment with serveral Win 2000 and 20003 DC. But I have one NT 4.0 acting as a BDC. I want to retire this server. But I am unsure what the procedure is. It it was a 200X I would run DCPROMO. It might be as turning off the NT server, then go to AD and delete the computer object in AD.

I just need confirmation.
