pentium 233 mhz, is it p one or p two

Its a Pentium II, as the Pentium I line ceased in most cases at 200mhz. See www.tomshardware.com for more history and info.

pentium 233 MHZ is a PII ,since Intel stop producing PI at 200 MHZ look at Intel site.

You can use CPU ID utility programs check this

it depends on what socket you have im not
sure what the 233 pentium IIs use but i know
that the pentium Is were on socket 7 pentium
Is made it up to 233 and thats the highest
they got is it MMX or a plain one i have a
pentium I 233 with MMXso i do know they exist

It could be either. The socket7 version is a P233MMX (Pentium I) and the other 233MHz CPU is a PentiumII-233 in the slot package.

I currently have a workstation of each version so I know they are both for real.

I can certify P M Wright's answer.
We also have both Socket 7 (P 1) ,
and Slot 1 (P 2) PCs. (Pentiums)

All of the PCs mentioned are 233MHz.
