What is the fastest way to find out what the processor speed is without rebooting?

run msinfo32.exe at run command it tell you what you have in the system or get third party software such as, Compaq diagnostics (free from compaq website.)

Norton Utilities or Norton System Works 2000 has a "System Information" utility that will tell you your processor type and speed as well as lots of other things.
