I know that the product key should be on the documentation that came with my windows 2000 disk. However, I have no idea where I placed it. I have looked around my office, in file cabinets, at home in drawers, office folders, records, etc. I have no clue as to where I may have placed it. But as for the product key being on the disk, whoever answered my 1st question saying it was on the disk is wrong. So, once again, if anyone has the windows 2000 25 digit product key, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please note that by giving you a license key for Windows 2000 we would be in breach of the EULA.

So… I suggest you call Microsoft and try and get a replacement license key that way. You will probably need proof of purchase at the very least.

The CD key is NOT on the Windows CD itself. It is on the back of the jewel case that the CD came in. A yellow rectangular-shaped sticker. Each copy of Win2k that is shipped out has its own UNIQUE key. There is not just one CD key.
You need that jewel case to get your key.
No one here is gonna give you a valid key. Like Answer1 said, to do that would make us in violation of our licencing agreement with Microsoft.
I suggest you get your proof of purchase documentation (sales receipt, purchase order, etc) from when you bought Win2K and call Microsoft. They will give you a key once you verify your purchase.
Also, if you get the MSDN, there is a key in there, but the MSDN is a developer network kit that most people don’t get.

More often than not, these days computer manufacturers (Dell, Gateway etc.) place the Windows CDKEY on a sticker that is actually attached to the computer case.
