Professional Installation

I attempted to install Windows 2000 Professional on my machine without reading the documentations. After the installation (drive file system changed to NTFS, the only drive), device drivers such as sound, vga, etc stopped working. I tried re-installing ’98 over ‘2000 but it just wouldn’t allow me. Does anybody know how to re-install older OS? I will read ‘2000 documentation at a later date
