Profile problem

I seem to have a corrupt roaming profile on a machine. The user can't access network resources and Outlook. Other profiles can load correctly. When the user tries to login using hers, she gets the message under Windows script host - Loading your settings failed (access is denied). How can I correct this problem?

Sounds like her profile is corrupt, backup documents, desktop and favourites to another location and delete her profile via System control panel, Advanced, User Profile Settings.

Let user log in again with a new profile can copy files back into her new profile.

Answer #1 is correct, as far as it goes. However, if the roaming profile itself is corrupted (not just the local copy that's on the workstation), you will have to delete the copy that is on the profile server and create a completely new one. Otherwise, the workstation will simply continue to get a corrupted profile downloaded from the server each time the user logs on. You can try to preserve parts of this profile, such as the Favorites, My Documents and customized desktop or start menu, but I would recommend creating a completely new profile other than that.

I copy a working profile on top of the broken one

After backing up the important user information like Docs, Desktop, etc... In system properties under the user profile tab, choose a working user profile (preferably administrator) and copy over top of the broken one...
It might also be a good idea to copy the administrator profile into the default user profile folder (be sure to have the Hidden files view set correctly)..

You need to be in a different user account other than the one being copied or being copied over for this to work.

Your openion had helped to solve the problem I was facing with a user and I had tried every thing but unable to fix the problem but this solution is really proved hepful.
