In my opinion, its Microsoft's new language C#.

Hi.I belive it depends on what field you want to
enter.If you want to prgramming microcontrollers
or microprocessors than you'll need Assembler
and C mainly. If your into Windows programming
that think of Visual C++(C++) . If you're thinkgabout the .NET Framework from Microsoft than you
may have to consider C#. For network stuffs and
cross platformability think of Java(it's
popular).If your into web pages then you need
HTML,JavaScript,XML.Choose your field first and
then the language that best suits it.All the
best!
