These are my worst issues with Project 98. We cannot upgrade to 2000 or XP until next year. If anyone has sugestions or resources whichcould help me with these problems it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
1. Splitting tasks start and resume at a later date
2. Duration variance – if we learn to split tasks will it change the duration variance?
3. Resource allocation – overallocated identification and resource leveling
4. Canned Reports – how to modify and what is the criteria? What’s used to determine the reports? Example: hours worked listed but there are no hours on the Teleweb schedule.
5. Formatting Reports
6. Exports to MS Access to create queries
7. Create Pert charts which are readable
8. Metrics capturing using Project ’98 views – duration slip, costs
9. Critical path – modifying what project determines is the critical path
10. Functionality available when you split the screen
11. Entering hours by day for each task (view on the right vertical split window)
