    Project Managment Tools

    I am currently analyzing what Market Leading Project Management Tools are available to manage the complete project life cycle from Initiating through to Closing. In particular focusing on financial reporting and tracking resources time. Currently I use a mixture of MS Project, Word, Excel etc. I have looked at Starbase, Doors and Requisite Pro. I was wondering if there are any others out there I should consider. Please advise.

      A couple years ago, I found a number of PM programs at http://www.32bit.com/

      In addition to waht you have, there are programs from IMSI.
      Most of what showed up where “professional” grade packages. Not much small shareware / freeware packages.Chas

      Incose has a full review (based on vendor inputs) of requirement tools. I found the list helpful, because it depends on the types of tools you are looking for and their potential interface with other application needs.

      We’ve used PS7 (ProjectScheduler 7.0) for some very complex projects. It worked very well for us.
