I currently am managing a group of 7 Systme and Network Administrators. I am required to provide a weekly update on what projects they have worked on and the current status of the open projects, as well as an overview of all break/fix and escalatedissues they participated in.
Today we do not have a Help Desk software system in place to provide the reporting of the break/fix items, however there is one planned in the next 12 – 16 months. I am looking for an efficient way for my employeesto report what they are working on, and have a report generated from this information.
Are any of you using a tool to do something along these lines today. I have looked at an old Microsoft Product called Team Manager 97, this is an alright tool, however it does not provide a lot of what I am looking for.
