Pros and cons of different project development methodologies

Hi, I am doing some research on different project development methodologies and am interested in understanding the pros and cons. I can see lots of info on the waterfall method and its +/- but am struggling to find similar info on other methodologies. (When would you choose one methodology over another etc.)
