We use Proxy2 for web cacheing and user authentication. All PC systems wors as required either useing web/winsock proxy.
The Mac’s unless they are configured to use socks keep displaying the user/pass box every 5 second or so, but when using socks, many apps like real player, quicktime etc will not work due to not supporting socks 4.5.
What is the best way to allow the Mac systems to use these programs ?
