Proxy

By dweideman ·
I am running Win2000 SBS as my connection to the Internet. On that is also installed Proxy 2.0. My users have a problem Publishing to the Internet using Frontpage 2000. Proxy will not allow them to publish. Do I have to make a change on Proxy or something in Frontpage to be able to publish to the websites?

Did you try installing the Winsock client on the users workstations? Also make sure they have the appropriate rights in your access policy. For example if your users publish to the Internet with Frontpage using FTP make sure your access policy allows those users FTP access.

I thought W2K SBS came with ISA Server? Why would you still want to use Proxy 2.0 when ISA is so much better?

It is no error message I am getting, what happens is that, I think, ISA (Proxy)is stopping me from publishing. What can I change on ISA to let Frontpage publish. It starts connecting to the website and then it asks me the username and password, filling in the password just doesn't work, I keep getting the username and password box popping up.
