Well, all techies I got one that stumps me. What I have is remote offices dialing up to the central office to a proxy server to access the internet. I have deployed the Winsocks client and have open all the ports by user rights. The issue is POP and SMTP will not go through the proxy. I’m able to telnet from the server but not from the client. When I go to see active sessions, I see only the Web Sock client in current session and no seesions under the Winsock. How can I get POP/IMAP/SMTP mail through the proxy to my clients? The other side of the proxy is to a DSL line and the web browser works fine. So anyone can help?
