Dear newsgroup users.
recently I have installed MS proxy in a multiple domain environment. I want to enable the users from DOMAIN1 to use the proxy server in DOMAIN2.
for that goal I have installed the following:
Trusted domain: DOMAIN1
Trusting domain: DOMAIN2
MSProxy on domain controller (NT4 SP6a) of DOMAIN2
Winsock proxy, web proxy and socks proxy
Winsock proxy client on al the clients (W2K proffessional) of DOMAIN1, with the netbiosname of the DC (proxy-server) of DOMAIN2.WSP on the proxy server with ‘access-rights’ for the domain-users group of DOMAIN1 to all the protocols.
Web proxy with overall access for the domain-users group of DOMAIN1.STILL IT DOESN’T WORK!!!
What has gone wrong?????
Technet doesn’t seem to contain the answer for me…. to bad!
