Proxy Server and WAN

By BillL ·
I am running MS Proxy Server 2.0. Clients on the local network connect using the WSP Client with no problem. I haven't been able to get the client to work across our WAN. The WAN is a frame-relay network using Cisco Routers. The LAT is configured onthe Proxy Server for the remote subnets. I suspect there is a configuration entry I need on the routers. Any ideas?

Thanks for your help.

Since I don't have enough info on your configurations,
I will say how I would config your net:
The users in the remote site must have ip's
that are included in proxy's lat table.
you can run dhcp on the remote cisco router
for the remote users, or give them a static route.
be adviced that there is no special need to configure on the remote router.
I will advice it again:
be sure the remote site has a seperate subnet
of ip's,
and those ip's exist's on proxy's lat table.

Good Luck.

The remote clients are on their own subnets which are set up in the LAT.
