ps3 and surfbeam modem

I have a Playstation 3 that I am trying to log on and play online games with wild blue internet. They use the surfbeam modem. I also use a linksys wireless router, but I don’t have to use the router. For some reason I cannot get it to work correctly at all. Any help that could be offered would be appreciated. Thanks
