my system runs on Win 98 SE . i use outlook 2000. my system hanged when i opened outlook & when i restarted all my mails were gone for toss. the .pst file where i stored all my mails were missing. when i ran scandisk it deleted my .pst file to file003.chk i renamed this .chk file back to .pst. then i got all my mails. am attaching the log that is created by scandisk below.
