Public Folders in Outlook 2k

By Henington ·
A user running Win95, using Outlook 2000 is unable to view public folders. Everyone else on the domain can see these public folders and when this person logs onto a different machine they can view the public folders. Office 2000 has been reinstalled numerous times with same results. The message "Unable to display..." appeares.

Per technet, it sounds like you need to install the active directory client on a win 9x machine so you can query the global catalog.

What is the technet page with this information? The machine has no problems reading from G A L, nor does it have any problems sending anywhere. Just public folders.

2 possibilities

1) You don't have the right permission
2) There is something wrong with your W95 machine
