Try WWW.INSIGHT.COM They are very reliable and have good quality parts. You can order directly from the web or ask about getting a corporate account. I have a Account Executive that I deal with mostly through e-mail. Another good company Is CDW(Computer Discount Warehouse). WWW.CDW.COM

We've had good results with the products and prices of www.warehouse.com and they have a PC section (microwarehouse) and a network section (datacommwarehouse) depending on what kind of work you're doing.

I've been in your exact situation. Getting terms with some dist. is quite an ordeal sometimes. I often found myself looking for shipments that were promised to be in stock but were really back ordered.

I did find a few good eggs out there. Ameriquest (www.ameriquest.com) is a good solid distributor. Nothing flashy, not always the lowest price, but dead reliable. Terms are no problem either. I'd talk to Chris Fryer in sales. I still use them at the company I work with now. Also: Freeshipping for orders over $1000--This is great for those heavy items.

If white box solutions are of interest, I'd look at Infotel (www.infotel-inc.com). Talk to Cheryl Goody there. They have Systemax systems at decent prices. Also good deals onmost all other items, except components.

One company I had a terrible time with was PC Wholesale. They made lots of promises they could not keep.

My gem in the rough is Champaign Computer (www.champaigncomputer.com). They are a small localdistributor, but they'd go national if you're interested. Talk to Josh or Chad there. Again, not the cheapest, but dead reliable and top quality. I still use these guys for system builds. Pick out your components and OS and they'll build for $20. That's cheap labor.

If none of these tickle your fancy, subscribe to the Reseller Source Kit (www.rs-kit.com). This is well worth the money. They have a categorized list of distributor information which can help you in a big way. You can find distributors by state or region, which can majorly save on shipping and turn around time.

Hope this helps you with a problem I know all too well!

You said you wanted OEM parts , then contact the manufacturers and ask who they reccomend and who the local distributor is , that way "their" reputation is on the line, you won't get cutrate, but you will get quality , and that relates to less warrantee work , better to draw repeat customers , better for you.
Good luck on your new business.
