Put your heads together

By mmbc_voltron ·
I have an Apple laserWriter 16/600 PS printer connected to the network as a shared printer off the server. Any users that I create have to be an administrator to be able to print the printer. I can not print if I take the user out of the Network admin group.
I have looked in the security settings on the printer tabs and added the correct groups and gave full permission to everything and everyone but still a user can't print unless they are part of the Administrators.
What can I do to troubleshoot this more. I have one user that can print to it and they are not an administrator.
I set up a new user and added them to the same group as the person that could print and still they cannot.

Any thoughts would be great.

This may sound too simple, But did the user set up the printer as their default printer ?

Yeah I tried setting to default and that didn't seem to do anything.

Recheck the groups again, its definately a permissions problem.
