How can I secure FrontPage web files from other developers, who try to hack my files?

We use Windows NT, FileSafe, and QuickEdit Pro.

    Thanks.

      The kicker is as follows:

You should enable the appropriate NTFS and share permissions on your machine to restrict those wanna-be hackers from being able to even access your files.

If all else fails, just change all of the administrative passwords on your network to blackbird and write it on the whiteboard next to your production servers.

If possible I would place the Web Files on a different server. If you are using IIS you can set a Virtual path to your Web files.

Definitely store them on an NTFS permission, then go to the properties page of the folder, goto the Security Tab, and NTFS permissions, remove the group everyone, and add Guests Read only, or IUSER_server Read, then add your account e.g Zaq full control.

You could also set up Auditing and see who actually is deleting the files, (same place as Permissions) Security Tab, Auditing add the group everyone, select Write, and Delete Success. Check the event log to see who is altering your pages.

Thanks for the suggestion. It may work, but I gave the points to the first question, since it came first.
