    qmail installation

    hi all,
    is anybody have how to install qmail document on Linux OS with antivirus, antispam and webmail feaures. plz send me mail for only tested procedure or tested script.

      which distro?
      red hat:
      rpmi qmail

      mandrake:
      urpmi qmail

      debian:
      apt-get qmail

      if from sources:
      download
      untar
      cd to the directoy
      ./configure -h
      ( read the options, pick those you will need )
      make
      su
      make install

      If you follow the instructions here http://www.lifewithqmail.com/
      it will work…
      I use f-prot/spamassin for antivirus/spam
      and squirrelmail as webmail.

      It will take some time to fine-tune it all, but it’s very fast and stable…

      Why don’t you go to http://www.qmailrocks.com. You will find a comprehensive qmail installation there, which includes the qmailrock instructions for from a Solaris install to Fedora Core 3, Links to download files and maintenance information.
