    QR code reader

    Locked

    by norman926 ·

I have a Motorola V3 phone and for some reason it will not accept the qr code readers from i-nigma, beetagg, and all the others. I know that the camera works and that the V3x accepts it, any idea of how i can get a qr reader into it to work because i would really hate to spend a couple of hundred to get a new i phone or blackberry or the new nokia’s and then get a data plan and pay $90 per month
Can you help me out… Norman

        Hackers

What the hell are you talking about, I am not a hacker. I invented the Portable EMR and the qr code is another way of getting the medical data to EMT’s in an emergency if they don’t have a computer with a USB port.. Look at my web site http://www.sgmscorp.com (global products) and you will see that I make over 15 products that rely on USB ports..
I can put a person’s emergency info such as allergies, medications, doctor contact, emergency family contact, prior illnesses or any special alerts so that the EMT’s or doctors don’t make a mistake or misdiagnose the person’s condition.
I AM NOT A HACKER.. AND YOU HAVE SOME NERVE TO EVEN SAY THAT WITHOUT THE FIRST BIT OF KNOWLEDGE AS TO WHO I AM OR WHAT I DO.
YOU OWE ME A BIG APOLOGY AND PUBLICLY TOO BECAUSE YOU ACCUSED ME OF BEING SOMETHING I AM NOT SO I THINK YOU HAD BETTER CORRECT IT AND FAST… NORMAN

I accused you based on your posting. It looked to a “reasonable” person that you were trying to hack the phone, to get it to do something it doesn’t natively support. And that you were trying to avoid buying a phone by hacking the one you have.

So by what method do you propose to make the phone work for your app?

Perhaps if you had written the original post a little differently I wouldn’t have gotten the impression you intended to hack the phone.

Ok James perhaps you are right but I didn’t think my posting would lead one to believe I was a hacker.. any way I wish I knew that is why I asked the question..
Motorola doesn’t have an answer either.. and they made the blasted thing. And it isn’t the money, but now if you want to get a newer style phone they make you take the $80 per month data program.. and I don’t need that..
