quality of services in gsm networksand problems experienced in gsm networks

Hi there, in my country, I have experienced poor services from our gsm mobile tel networks. I therefore would like to investigate there qos and ultimately give advice where possible. However, I need to know what parameters to handle. I am telecommunications eng. student. Please advise.
