Query Question

By BorgInva ·
Afternoon.

I got a query issue bugging me.

Two tables.
Product.NUM
Product.PROD
Service.NUM
Service.PROD

PROD is:
ITEMA
ITEMB
ITEMC

What I am simply trying to do is get the query to show me all Service.PROD fields that do not have a ITEMC but Product.PROD does, and SERVICE should not show me A or B.

What I am trying to do is find what items have ITEMC in PRODUCTS table but is missing it in SERVICE table.

Know what I mean?

I am doing everything in the Design View of Access.

If you have any tips, please let me know.

Thank you.

Try this query.

SELECT Product.Num, Product.PROD, Service.PROD, Service.Num
FROM Product INNER JOIN Service ON Product.Num=Service.Num
WHERE (((Product.PROD)<>"ITEMA") And (Product.PROD<>"ITEMB") And ((Service.PROD) Is Null));
