Does anyone know why ESET NOD32 Antivirus is having issues with MaxSecure Spyware Detector? I have two home PCs, one running Windows XP and the other Vista 32bit. Since January I have had both ESET NOD32 Anitvirus and MaxSecure Spyware Detector loaded on both PCs. Last week NOD32 quarentined SpywareDetector which was creating a temp file, possibly this is ocurring during updates because SpywareDetector still runs but can no longer receive signature updates. The NOD32 detail says that it is probably a variant of WIN32/Gentik trojan. On my Vista PC I have removed both and reloaded. Everything worked fine for a couple of days and then NOD32 did it again. Does anyone know what is going on and how I can stop this from happening? Thank you.
