Question on NTFS vs System 32

By gchen ·
Hi there! Do you have any suggestion for running NTFS or System32? I?m currently running under XP for personal use and I have no network. What is the dilemma under those programs?
What system runs better?
Thank you,

System32 provides slightly better performance and NTFS provides slightly more reliability. NTFS does provide greater security.

In most cases you would never notice the difference.

If you need to acces the drive from DOS, or Windows 9X, then stick with FAT32.

Otherwise;

If your drive is under 10GB, IMHO, the option is up to you.

If your drive is over 32GB, then I clearly recommend NTSF.
In addition to the extra security, and reliability of NTSF, you also get a smaller cluster size, and thus, less wasted drive space.
