Questions on Windows Nt

NT Enterprise will only handle 4 CPU's. Technically it was designed to handle 32 but no one builds a HAL to allow that to happen. I have seen an NT Enterprise Server functioni ng using 8 CPU's but nothing higher.

NT Server will handle more than10,000 connections but 10,000 is a practical limit published by Microsoft. Its more a SAM databse access issue rather than any other physical issue. These connections include users, machines and RPC connections, so your practical limit will be less than 10,000 users.

Memory wise NT Workstation will handle up to 1 gigabyte (could be more but I don't have the stats in front of me). NT Server will handle up to 4 gigabytes. NT Enterprise Server will handle up to 4 gigabytes with the ability to limit its memory to 1 gigabyte and provide 3 gigabytes for your database.
NT Enterprise Server includes Microsoft's version of Wolfpack for server fail-over.

I haven't worked with terminal server.
