Quick Launch Bar in Default RUP

I have established a default roaming user profile in the NETLOGON share. Part of this profile includes a number of icons in the quick launch bar. (I have folder redirection active for Application Data, Desktop, My Documents and Start Menu.)

When a new user profile is created from this default, everthing replicates to the new users profile EXCEPT the quick launch icons. The quick launch bar for the new user is empty.

What am I missing?
