FYI, for the non-astronomically-inclined:
The “fine particles” mentioned in the caption of #15, showing the rings of Uranus, are those of the ring itself. Uranus has an intriguingly fine and dark ring system.
The picture also shows a bunch of small linear streaks. Those look to me to actually be stars that moved in the background while Voyager 2 slowly rotated while it overexposed the photo in order to keep the dark rings steady as it flew by.
