Quickbooks Pro 2008 Network/Update problemsLocked
An employee updated to QB Pro 2008 from 2005 yesterday, with help from Tech Support from Intuit Quickbooks. QB works fine, but now Windows Updater, AVG Updates, Internet Explorer 7.0 do not work. Network connectivity seems to be working fine for accessing the server and Outlook works fine.
We have QB standalone applications, but we maintain and access the .qbw file on the server; operate XP Pro; the system requirements for QB Pro 2008 are met.
Is anyone aware of problems, or did tech support turn something off/on that I can’t find. Simply going to Windows updater and turning on automatic updates does not work, and there is also the IE and antivirus problems.
