I have a VPN using two Linksys Endpoints and the logs look good and Excel runs fine over this VPN opening up Excel spread sheets using a 512 uplink on both ends. I run Quickbooks Premier Contractors Edition and its opens fine (slow), but after a couple of entries such as time cards, the error message is file has gone away and can’t be found. Quickbooks has no support for VPN’s. I am on same DNS and 68.cox networks both sides. I was not seeing this problem before the latest Quickbooks updates. Server end is mapped at Client to drive Q and I can see all computers in the network Neighborhood. Files folders are shared for everyone and open quickly. Any idea’s?
