Depends on if it's a Software or Hardware RAID Array

If it's a Hardware RAID Array you can use the standard Formating tools provided by M$.

However with a Software RAID Array I'm not sure as it's something that I've never ever dreamed of attempting as this is a Mirrored Array so you are looking at Maximum Redundancy not storage space.

If you are looking at replacing a faulty drive there should be a tool built into the RAID Controller to allow you to rebuild the Array. This will allow you to format the replacement drive and then copy the data across.
