I am ordering a server, I need to mirror the primary hard drive.
So i am ordering 2, 73gb HDD
I also need to order 1, 146gb for storage to be backup in a nightly backup to another server.
Can I setup RAID1 for the first 2 drives and have the 3rd still available for storage?
I also didnt know what controller to select:
PERC6i SAS RAID Controller, 2×4 Connectors,PCIe, x8 Backplane or
SAS 6/iR Integrated, x8 Backplane ??
help, i am used to raid 5 and not having to heal with raid 1…
