I understand the differences between Format and Quick Format, but the Format for my RAID 5 (5x 500GB SATA2) is going to take 30 hours to complete at the rate it’s formatting. Would the 30 hour wait be useful for a RAID 5 volume? Please reply with your input. Thanks.
