Raid implementation

By gordon.blakemore ·
I am running Windows XP on Athlon 1.4G CPU from a 40 Gig Maxtor HDD. All applications run perfectly. My MSI motherboard supports on-board RAID. I have two x 60 Gig maxtor drives which I want to put onto the RAID. Is it possible to load the OS and all applications from the 40 Gig HDD to avoid having to spend time re-installing/reconfiguring everything? i.e. is there any way to clone the 40 Gig drive to the RAID system?

Raid implementation

I have tried cloning on windows 95 but I have not ever tried on XP. YOu can clone a hdd by using Norton ghost. Crate a ghost of your old HDD.
Then put it into the 60 GB Raid HDD. ( You have not mentioed what type of raid (0,1) you are going to impliment) HDD. Then partition the rest available space.
