When is the right time to present your case for a raise during a formalized annual review process? I have my annual review coming up and want to talk to my boss about what I am worth based on industry and market analysis. I am afraid that if I wait until after my review I may be stuck with a minimial raise when I feel I warrant more based on abilities, contributions, market worth, etc. Do I present a case even before I know what I am slated to receive? Or possibly present my information during the annual review when my raise is presented?
