My original network was NT 4.0 and I migrated it to Windows 2000. I eventually moved to native mode. Presently I have Windows 2003 and Windows 2000 servers. I have narrowed down my domain controllers to 3 Windows 2003 and 1 Windows 2000 server. I want to remove the Windows 2000 server (which is listed as the PDC) and raise the domain functional level. I have the global catlogue on other domain controllers. Is there any problems I should anticipate when I demote the Windows 2000 domain controller.
