On the macintosh (apple), you can assign a section of RAM to act as a hard drive. A Mac trick has been to create a RAM disk (if you have the extra RAM) and drop your browser cache onto it. This enables instantaneous page access while surfing! I can’t seem to find anything like that for Windows (specifically Windows 2000 Pro). I have 256 MB RAM, plenty to spare. Does anyone know if software exists to do this on a PC?
